Sellers Should Sell, Buyers Should Buy… NOW!
16 09 2009Last night’s presentation by Steve Harney here in Goose Creek urged anyone thinking about buying or selling real estate to do so NOW.
These are the points he made to sellers:
- While the market has shown signs of improvement (see yesterday’s post about Crowfield Plantation), forecasters predict home prices will not reach bottom nationally until May of 2010… and then it will take TWO YEARS for prices to climb back up to where they are TODAY. Read the rest of this entry »

Forbes Recognizes Charleston’s Strong Market

This month Forbes Magazine named the Charleston, SC, housing market as one of the strongest 25 in the country, and said it will be one of the first markets to recover from the current nation-wide slump. A Real Estate Train Wreck

Had lunch with a friend the other day. Found out she and her husband are in the process of purchasing a house they’ve been renting from a family member. They’ve been renting the house three years.
“Wow,” I said, “I wish I would have known you were working on this, I could have helped you through it.”
She was apologetic. ”Oh, I didn’t know you could help with a situation like ours, I thought you could only help people who are actually moving.”

Crowfield Plantation Homes Sold YTD 2008
